Stop taking MOT bookings on the phone.

Customers book online, your team sees the whole week, and your DVSA records stay up to date as you test. Built for UK MOT stations and garages.

Set up in about 8 minutes. Your booking page is live at the end of setup.

Sound familiar?

  • Two cars turn up for the same slot.

Online bookings and counter bookings go into one live calendar, so each slot can only be booked once.

  • No-shows that nobody had time to chase.

Reminders go out automatically by email and SMS the day before.

  • TQI pulled together the night before a DVSA visit.

Your TQI is already in the dashboard. The Chrome extension brings TQI and test logs across from the DVSA portal as you go.

Customers book themselves in

Every booking taken by phone pulls a technician off the ramp, and the slot still has to be written into the diary by hand.

Customers book through your own online booking page instead. They choose a service and a time, pay a deposit if you ask for one, and the booking goes straight onto your schedule.

  • Embed the booking page on your own website, with your logo and colours
  • Deposits paid into your own Stripe or PayPal account, never ours
  • Four calendar styles and your own custom questions

See the whole week at a glance

A paper diary cannot tell you which lane is free on Thursday afternoon, or who is off.

The schedule shows every lane, every tester and every booking, and updates as bookings are added, moved or cancelled.

  • Lanes or bays, each with the services it can take
  • Staff availability, holidays and time blocks
  • Move or edit a booking in place, and subscribe to the schedule from your own calendar app (ICS)

Fewer no-shows, without the phone calls

A no-show leaves a ramp empty for an hour, and nobody has time to ring every customer the day before.

Reminders go out automatically by email and SMS, and MOT-expiry reminders bring last year’s customers back before their certificate runs out.

DVSA paperwork that keeps itself up to date

The night before a DVSA visit is not the time to find out a tester’s TQI has drifted.

TQI, test logs, QC checks, site assessment and equipment calibration are kept in one dashboard and updated as you go.

  • Monthly TQI scores and alerts, plus test logs and QC checks
  • Site assessment and equipment calibration, with expiry dates
  • A Chrome extension pulls TQI and test logs from the DVSA portal for you

Cam 360: let customers see their car for themselves

A customer who has never seen under their own car has to take your word for it.

Your technician films a short video health check on their phone, and the customer receives the video and the findings, with a button to call you. Software like this is usually sold to dealer groups for hundreds of pounds a month. Cam 360 offers the same to independent garages as an add-on.

Add-on, £69.99/mo, excludes VAT. Cancel any time.

  1. Step 1: Reception starts the inspection

From the customer’s booking or record, the desk starts an inspection and a one-time QR code appears on screen.

  2. Step 2: The technician scans and records

The technician scans the code with the VTS Expert Cam 360 app, with no login needed, and films one walkthrough: under the car, tyre tread, brakes and suspension, good and bad. They can trim the video, mute sections and record a voice-over, then tap Finish.

  3. Step 3: The customer watches and gets in touch

The customer receives a link by email and SMS to a page with your garage’s name, the video, and what needs doing now and what can wait. One button calls you or opens WhatsApp, whichever you choose.

Findings are optional. Mark each checklist item red, amber or green, and the customer sees each one described in plain words. A video on its own is still a complete report.

Videos are kept for 30 days and reports for 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Who VTS Expert is for

You run an MOT testing station

You have your own MOT bay and your own testers. VTS Expert takes the bookings, schedules the lanes and keeps your DVSA records in order: TQI, test logs, QC checks, site assessment and calibration.

Managers, assistant managers, technicians and the reception desk each get their own login, and any of them can be flagged as an MOT tester.

You run a garage that sends MOTs out

You have no MOT station of your own, but you sell MOTs as a drop-off through a partner station. Take the booking online, schedule the drop-off, remind the customer, and keep your service work in the same diary.

You choose your setup once during onboarding, and the booking page, services and roles adjust to match.
